Technique delivers customizable depth, dimension, and longer-lasting

  • Best of Both Techniques Combined
  • Hairstrokes for Natural Front, Shading for Defined Tail
  • Maximum Dimension and Depth
  • Customizable Intensity and Style
  • Longer-Lasting Results Than Microblading Alone

Why Combo Borws ?

Combo Brows brings together the best of both microblading and shading techniques in one seamless procedure. Realistic hairstrokes are carefully placed at the front of the brow to mimic natural hair growth, while soft powder shading fills in the body and tail for a beautifully defined finish.

This combination creates maximum dimension and depth, giving your brows a fuller, more sculpted appearance that looks effortlessly real. The intensity and style can be fully customized to match your preference — from soft and natural to bold and dramatic.

Best of all, Combo Brows lasts longer than microblading alone, as the shading technique helps maintain color retention and reduces the appearance of fading over time.

Why Amorj combo brows ?

AMORJ's Combo Brows combines the best of microblading and shading techniques — realistic hairstrokes at the front blending into soft powder shading at the tail for maximum dimension and depth.

This customizable approach creates the most natural yet defined look, with longer-lasting results than microblading alone. Perfect for those who want fuller, more sculpted brows that look effortlessly real.

  • What is the difference between combo brows and microblading?

Combo Brows and microblading differ in technique, appearance, and longevity. Microblading uses a manual tool to create only hair-like strokes across the entire brow, creating a very natural, minimal look perfect for clients with existing brow hairs wanting subtle enhancement. Combo Brows combine two techniques: microblading at the front/head for natural dimension, and soft powder shading through the body and tail using a digital machine to create a "makeup filled" appearance that's still natural. At AMORJ Seoul, Combo Brows are ideal for clients wanting more definition than pure microblading provides, clients with sparse or patchy brows needing fuller coverage, clients with oily skin where microblading alone might fade too quickly, or clients preferring a polished everyday makeup look. Combo Brows last longer (2-3 years vs 1-2 years) because the shading component retains pigment better, especially on Korean skin types that lean oily. The $289 price at AMORJ is the same as microblading.

  • Who is the ideal candidate for combo brows in Seoul?

AMORJ's Combo Brows work beautifully on a wide range of clients, making them the most versatile brow treatment. You're an ideal candidate if you have: Sparse or patchy brow growth with noticeable gaps, oily or combination skin where pure microblading strokes might blur or fade quickly, aging or mature skin that may not hold lines well, very few natural brow hairs needing more coverage than strokes can provide, or desire for a more defined "makeup look" rather than ultra-natural appearance. Combo Brows suit all skin types - unlike microblading which works best on normal/dry skin, Combo Brows' shading technique compensates for oily skin's tendency to blur lines. International clients especially appreciate Combo Brows because they create fuller, more dramatic results that photograph beautifully and require less daily maintenance in one session. During consultation, AMORJ's master artist will assess your natural brow pattern and skin type to recommend whether Combo Brows or pure microblading better suits your goals.

  • How do combo brows heal and what does the healing timeline look like?

AMORJ's Combo Brows healing follows a predictable 4-6 week timeline with specific stages. Days 1-3: Brows appear 30-40% darker and bolder than final result, slight redness and tenderness (normal), apply provided healing ointment 2-3 times daily, avoid water contact, some clients experience mild swelling. Days 4-7: Scabbing and flaking begins - this is the most challenging stage, brows may feel tight and itchy (don't scratch!), color looks uneven and patchy as scabs form, never scratch or pick, continue gentle cleansing and ointment. Days 8-14: Most scabbing complete, brows look very light or "ghostly" (60-70% lighter than initial), this fading is completely normal and expected, shaded areas may initially fade more than strokes. Days 15-30: True color gradually returns each week, both strokes and shading become visible again, brows look increasingly natural. Weeks 4-6: Complete healing achieved, final color and shape visible, ready for 3-month touch-up to perfect areas that didn't retain optimally. Combo Brows' shading tends to heal softer and lighter than strokes initially before evening out.

  • Can combo brows look natural or do they always look like makeup?

AMORJ's Combo Brows can look anywhere from completely natural to beautifully defined depending on your preferences - the technique is incredibly customizable. The "makeup look" reputation comes from Combo Brows' ability to mimic filled-in brows, but AMORJ specializes in creating soft, natural Korean-style Combo Brows that don't scream "I had work done." The key lies in shading density and color selection. For natural looks, we apply very light shading with subtle gradients (lighter front, slightly deeper tail) mimicking how natural brows have varying density, using colors that match your natural hair rather than going darker. For more definition, we increase shading saturation and create stronger contrast between front and tail, using slightly deeper pigment for a polished appearance. Most AMORJ clients choose a "natural-plus" look - natural enough for bare-face days but defined enough to skip brow makeup. During consultation, bring reference photos and show your artist your everyday brow routine so we can customize the exact density, gradient, and color combination that suits your lifestyle and beauty preferences.
